About the program

Music Instrumental at Liberty University will teach you how to transpose your love of music into both a profession and a ministry, regardless of the career you pursue.

In our B.A. in Instrumental Music program, you will study philosophy, a foreign language, and take a literature or cultural studies elective, providing the basis of your liberal arts degree and helping you view music within the larger context of society as a whole.

If you choose to pursue our instrumental specialization, you will work one-on-one with an instructor to increase your technical and performance skills. You will also have the opportunity to learn a secondary instrument and participate in ensemble performances. As a senior, you will participate in a senior recital showcasing your instrumental music skills.
