Through the Associate of Arts in Aviation Maintenance Technician at Liberty University, you will acquire the skills you will need to solve maintenance issues independently or within a team environment. After you earn this degree, you have the opportunity to pursue one of the B.S. in Aviation Maintenance degrees.
You will take courses such as Aircraft Electrical Systems, Landing Gear Systems, and Airframe Assembly & Inspection. Aircraft mechanics are needed in multiple aviation industries including airlines, aircraft manufacturers, and aviation service stations. Over 640,000 new aircraft mechanics will be needed worldwide over the next 20 years.
